Take part in this three day zazen program at Torikai Hachimangu Shinbun-kan in Imagawa, including a lecture from experienced priest Myochoan Kamioka Hakuun. In Zen Buddhism, zazen (literally “seated meditation”) is a meditative discipline practitioners perform to calm the body and the mind, and be able to concentrate enough to experience insight into the nature of existence and thereby gain enlightenment. This program runs for three days, including two overnight stays, meals, and a party, however participants can request to join or leave the program half-way.
