Since 2011, Italian-born Silvio and Fukuokan Ai have been growing Italian vegetables in Fukutsu that they sell to restaurants all over Japan. But now they’ve opened their very own farm-to-table restaurant. Naturally, the dishes use homegrown vegetables. Enjoy Neapolitan-style pastas and stone oven-baked pizzas (Silvio’s from Naples.) Don’t miss the vegetable plate featuring both Italian veggies and local ingredients. You can also buy vegetables, Italian snacks, and deli items to take home. Well worth the 55-minute drive from Tenjin, but call ahead for a reservation, it’s going to become popular soon!
