Blackbird, modeled after a spy’s secret lair, opened in February. Situated in an old house, it does not look like a bar from the outside, but once you open the door, you feel like you’ve stepped into a secret agent’s hideout. The interior features low lighting and two private rooms in the back separated by a curtain. The drink menu has been curated by Shuichi Nagatomo from the renowned Bar Oscar in Fukuoka. Signature drinks include the Blackbird, a vodka cocktail mixed with aromatic espresso and chocolate liqueurs. The popular homemade black curry is a good way to end the night.
Menu (plus tax): Charge ¥1,000, Blackbird ¥1,800, Don’s Parade ¥1,800, The Rose ¥2,200, Japanese whiskey ¥1,400~, prosciutto plate ¥1,600, four-cheese plate ¥1,600, homemade curry ¥1,200.
