C.C.CAFE

Remember back to when you were in college and you scored a cool pad with a bunch of chill guys off Craigslist and you would just hang out and chill and play Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo 64 and other chill bros and friends of friends would randomly show up and “get a sesh” in? Maybe this chapter in your life wasn’t so long ago, maybe it’s a distant memory, maybe you are currently experiencing the aforementioned “chill times”, or you could possibly be in the “pre-chill times” and if that’s the case you have no business being in bars. Whatever stage in life you find yourself in, just know that CC Cafe has captured this ephemeral feeling of idle tranquility that can only be summed up as “Chill times”.
CC’s wasn’t always the paragon of chillness that it is today. It has humble beginnings as an English school. Eventually, the owners wanted to turn it into a bar. That was five years ago, now the English school-cum-bar is a full-fledged hangout for connoisseurs of good times. A faithful crowd of repeat customers can always be found frequenting this bar but don’t let that make you feel like an outsider. The regulars are very accepting of newcomers and it’s super easy to sidle up to someone and strike up a conversation. If you have trouble initiating conversations with strangers then maybe one of the regular food events are for you. Show up, make some food following a recipe and then eat it. Simple as that, and in the meantime you’ve probably made a new friend or two. They also have so many other events including beer pong tournaments with prizes, birthday parties, nights for D&D for all the dedicated wizards and warlocks prowling around Fukuoka, ¥100 shot nights with purchase of a drink and open mic night. So throw some points towards charisma and check out one of their many events on their Instagram (ccfukuoka). This place has a remedy for your blues.
