Coffee House Noda

Since 1966, Noda has been serving coffee made from beans roasted in-house almost daily. Staff in crisp uniforms work deftly behind the stately counter, and a large painting by the late Daisaku Kai, a local painter who was fascinated by Afghanistan, hangs on the wall. Enjoy the aroma as the coffee drips from the siphon in front of you. Choose from nine original blends, including the well-balanced Noda blend, or around 10 straight varieties. The original blend pairs well with the popular oil sardine and mustard sandwich as well as the various homemade cakes.

Menu: Noda blend ¥693, Hakata no Hana strong blend ¥693, Blue Mountain No. 1 ¥1,100, Irish coffee ¥803, sandwich set ¥1,155~, cake set ¥1,045~, thick-cut toast ¥352, tea ¥693~ (*Each customer must order at least one drink)

*Foreign language menu: English / Credit cards accepted / Reservations: Not possible / No smoking
