Nao is a popular riverside pizzeria with a terrace and the sister shop of La Case di Nao, an authentic Italian restaurant run by Chef Naoyuki Ishibashi, the former head chef of the Japanese embassies in Switzerland and Italy. The extensive pizza menu includes the standards, margherita and marinara, along with the four-cheese quattro formaggi, the calzone (a folded oven-baked pizza with cheese, ham, mushrooms and boiled eggs) and even fruit-topped dessert pizzas. You can customize every part of your pizza—from the crust to the toppings to the cheese—to make a truly original pie. Other menu items include fresh vegetables, seafood and meat sourced locally from Itoshima and Asakura and grilled in a stone oven. You can also opt for a course.
