Puka Puka Kitchen is located right on the ocean in Imazu, on the western edge of Fukuoka, so the best time to go is when the weather is clear. Relax as you listen to the waves and feel the ocean breeze in your hair. Did we mention the food is great, too? The dishes are made with Itoshima-sourced ingredients. Try the fluffy omelet rice made with Itoshima eggs and topped with a homemade demi-glace sauce that takes 10 days to prepare. The curry is also top-notch. There are two types, beef and coconut, made with an original blend of spices.
