Sushiya is a popular shop where you can enjoy fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Inside the pristine shop, you can relax at the spacious counter, or if you’re in a group, you can opt for the floor seating in the back. But the biggest draw is the price. A 7-piece sushi set will only set you back ¥1,000, and even the primo cuts, like bluefin tuna otoro (fatty tuna belly) and wild sea urchin from Tsushima, are reasonably priced. The shop sources its seafood directly from the nearby Nagahama Seafood Market, so you know the quality is bar none.
