Located in the new Hareno Garden in Tenjin Chuo Park, Toffee—which stands for “tofu + coffee” —is an offshoot of the long-standing Mihara Tofuten restaurant. Its tofu drinks include the signature soypresso, a rich combination of soy milk (made from Japanese soybeans grown by the owner’s brother) and an original espresso blend supplied by a local coffee roaster, the soy milk gelato, and the soy frappe made with strawberries from Saga. The creamy chocolate ganache made from tofu, soy milk and chocolate comes in unique flavors like roasted green tea and pistachio.
