New York Times Report on Fukuoka
Back in March 2012, Fukuoka Now’s Nick and Emiko guided New York Times writer Ingrid K. Williams around Fukuoka for a report on our city. Her article was published in the New York Times and online this weekend. The report compares Fukuoka favorably to Tokyo and Kyoto as a relaxing tourist destination – covering everything from Hakata food tasting at local yatai and restaurants, to shopping in Tenjin and sightseeing at Ohori Park and Dazaifu.
