Dr. Saburo Shochi, returned to Fukuoka Aug 16, completing his ‘Oldest Person To Make an Around-the-world Trip using only the public transportation” according to the Guinness World Record. He covered 56,700 kilometers after leaving Fukuoka mid-July. He had his 106th birthday in the airplane flying from Frankfurt to Japan. About 60 people welcomed him at Fukuoka airport. “I don’t feel old at all. I just keep moving on.” says Dr. Shoichi. He has just published his latest book. “Nothing is too late.
