A 250-year-old Italian cafe, Bicerin, opened on the 5th floor of Hakata Hankyu. The cafe is said to be a favorite of Nietzsche, Puccini, and Hemingway. The first shop in Kyushu serves food and beverages and also sells boxed sweets. Its signature hot coffee and chocolate drink, Bicerin, is named as one of the top 100 things in the world worth protecting. Limited sweets featuring Hello Kitty are available until the end of May, too. Source: Hakata Keizai / Bicerin
