Fukuoka City Subway has announced the operation of special trains on the day of Hanabi Fantasia Fukuoka 2019. A large number of passengers are expected to take the subway on August 7 to enjoy the fireworks. From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., sixteen additional trains will operate for the Subway Kuko Line to ease overcrowding. In case the event is rescheduled due to inclement weather, the special trains will run on the alternative date. For smoother service, officials recommend the use of IC cards.
