Agreement Signed to Deal With Vacant Residences

Fukuoka Prefecture has signed an agreement with the Fukuoka Shiho-Shoshi Lawyer’s Association in an attempt to countermeasure the problems that can arise when houses are left unoccupied. The agreement will also help create a smoother process for dealing with vacant properties that have been served initial subrogation papers. Property inheritance regulations will be used to deal with abandoned residences and the resulting damage caused to the surrounding environment from the growth of weeds and illegal garbage disposal.
