Alcohol Restrictions For Maizuru Park During Sakura Festival

Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival 2022 has released new guidelines to the public regarding cherry blossom viewing events, such as the one which began on Mar. 25 in Maizuru Park. Large groups are prohibited from gathering, and consumption of alcohol is limited to a specific area. The food and beverage zone inside Korokan Hiroba has tables and chairs for some 300 people, and alcoholic drinks can be purchased, but they must be consumed there. More details for this year’s sakura viewing etiquette can be viewed here. Colorful illuminations along with castle walls will take place each evening between 18:00~21:00.
