Three baby capybaras born in early September at Fukuoka’s Uminonakamichi Seaside Park have become a popular attraction. Initially about 30 cm long and weighing 1.5 kg, they now weigh over 2 kg. Visitors delight in watching the triplets chase after their mother, “Ranne,” and practice swimming, a skill they have yet to master. The park staff notes that each cub has a distinct personality, adding to their charm. Names for the cubs are currently under consideration and will be announced soon.
