The Bank of Fukuoka has collaborated with GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. to introduce a new payment service called “Yoka! Pay” on March 1. This service allows users to make purchases via their smartphones without having to use cash or cards. The Bank of Fukuoka hopes that the platform will make monetary transactions between local businesses and their customers easier, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
