A cycling safety class was held in Fukuoka City on Oct 4 for international students. The students were asked, “Do you think bicycles are like cars? The participants in the safety class were international students from Nepal, Vietnam, and other countries who attended Aiwa Language School in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City. The school has about 340 students, many of whom use bicycles for convenience, and accidents occur yearly. Since the number of students has been increasing due to the easing of immigration restrictions caused by the Corona disaster, the school requested the police to hold the event for the first time in three years to let students know the rules of bicycles in Japan to prevent accidents.
