On 9/25 at around 19:20, Solaria Plaza’s 7F~17F experienced a sudden blackout that lasted around 20 mins. Power was lost in the hotel’s guest rooms, the movie theatre, gym and beauty salon. During the blackout around 530 guests were using the facilities, however there are no reports of injury. Movie-goers who were watching a film in the theatre at the time of the outage were compensated with free tickets. The cause of the blackout is still under inspection, says a Nishitetsu PR spokesman.
