With shops in 100 countries the world-famous burger chain “Burger King” will open it’s first shop in Kyushu inside Aeon Mall Kashihama in late March. Their popular “Whopper” burger which measures 13cm in diameter will be on the menu. The franchising company is Torizen Broiler, a Fukuoka-based company that specializes in chicken food products and restaurants. They plan to open a second Burger King in Fukuoka City later in 2015, and a total of five stores by 2017. There are currently 88 Burger Kings shops in Japan. They entered the Japanese market in 2007.
