Businesses along Meiji-dori Ave. in Tenjin 1 chome and 2 chome, have formed a group “Tenjin Meji-dori Ave. Development Council” which plans to apply to Fukuoka City government for permission to begin large scale renovations to increase floor space for their offices and businesses. The group is pushing to make the district the largest office and business area in the city.
