Calbee announced a temporary halt of production and in some cases discontinuation of some of several potato chip flavors due to damage from typhoons in Hokkaido last August. Some of the flavors being halted include Hakata Mentai, Kyushu Shoyu, and Kataage Potato Kyushu Shoyu. An announcement regarding which flavors will returned will be made at a later date.
