ChariChari Relocates Headquarters to Fukuoka

Tokyo-based Neuet, the company that operates the ChariChari bicycle sharing service in central Fukuoka City and other areas, relocated its headquarters to Fukuoka City on October 1. The company began serving the city in 2018 in collaboration with Fukuoka City Hall. It has gradually increased the number of shared bicycles in the city as it has expanded its areas of service, and as of the end of July 2022, it has a fleet of approximately 2,500 bicycles and dedicated docking stations at 539 locations, including stations and commercial facilities. The cumulative number of rides has now exceeded 10 million. The company believes that its efforts to improve infrastructure, including adding bicycles to accommodate increased use and strengthening of its patrol system within the city, have led to the large number of users, and it will leverage its relocation to Fukuoka as an opportunity to further expand its community-oriented business.
