City Hall Goes to the Mat With Skateboarders

Rubber mats scattered on the grounds of Kego Park began to appear from mid-August this year. There are now twelve mats. The city placed the mats to discourage skateboarding and bicycle riding in the park. While serious accidents have yet to be reported, complaints of aggressive behavior of skateboarders jumping and weaving quickly through people in the park have been recorded.
