Commercial Land Prices up in Kyushu

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, prices for commercial land in the prefectures of Kyushu and Okinawa rose significantly during 2019. Fukuoka City saw an increase of 6.7%, with the plot for Tenjin Core Building marked the most expensive ¥11 million per square meter as of January 1. Land prices for the area are considered to be pushed up by the movements of regional redevelopment. Source: Nikkei 2020-03-19
