The operating company of Nagahama Shogun, a local tonkotsu-ramen shop, is reportedly filing for bankruptcy. Established in 1975, the ramen shop and all of its three locations stopped operation on Mar. 31. A significant drop in sales due to the spread of the new coronavirus is the main reason for the shutdown. It is the first bankruptcy in Fukuoka City related to the spread of COVID-19.
