COVID Variant Detected in Four Female Patients in Fukuoka

On Mar. 24, Fukuoka Prefecture reported the first detection of a new variant of the new coronavirus in the region. A coronavirus strain first found in the U.K. was detected in four female patients aged between thirty and seventy.
