Daihatsu Kyushu Resumes Production After Two-Month Suspension

Daihatsu Kyushu in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture, has resumed production of ten car models on February 26, following a two-month halt due to a certification misconduct issue. The suspension, which began in December last year, affected all twelve models produced at the Oita plant. The resumption brings relief to employees and signals a step towards normalcy for the company, which still has two models under production suspension until at least March 15. The company’s Kurume Factory in Fukuoka Prefecture had already resumed operations on February 23. Source: Daihatsu Motor Kyushu / NHK
