Daihatsu Launches On-demand Shared Taxi service in Goto, Nagasaki

Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. announced a new on-demand bus service in Goto City, Nagasaki. The car manufacturer, which is strong in kei-jidosha (subcompact car) production sector, aims to provide daily trips to supermarkets, medical clinics, public halls, and more for society’s aging members. Users can book a ride via phone. The project is running on a trial basis between Apr. 1 ~ Sep. 30, before an official launch in the region and other areas of Japan. Source: Daihatsu
