Dazaifu City Announces Infection Prevention For Holiday Season

Dazaifu City announced a large scale infection prevention project in preparation for the upcoming holiday season. It will install eight thermal cameras at spots, including Dazaifu Station, and the tourist information to discourage people from visiting nearby tourist spots and shrines if they have fevers. Also, it will purchase 30,000 masks to give to those who aren’t wearing one. Additionally, a special timetable will be in effect for the Nishitetsu train on Jan. 1~ 3 and Jan. 9 ~11, with an additional 23 trains per day between Fukuoka and Dazaifu. Source: NHK / Mainichi
