In late March, the Fukuoka Financial Group (FFG) will open Diagonal Run Fukuoka, an open innovation hub aimed at promoting interaction among venture firms to generate new business ideas. It will feature a co-working space and an event space as well as offices and conference rooms for startups. This will be the second Diagonal Run after Tokyo, and FFG hopes this new facility will foster homegrown venture companies and encourage more companies to enter the Fukuoka market.
