With the goal of providing entertainment to the public amidst the coronavirus epidemic, a group of creators have organized a drive-in movie theater event for Aug. 29 ~ 30. While the need for social distancing has led to the cancellation of many events, this group thought to revive an old-fashioned American (yet new-to-Japan) way of enjoying movies. The group will screen “After School Midnighters (放課後ミッドナイターズ),” an international-award winning animation film made by a Fukuoka-based studio.
