ANA Holdings Inc. tested a drone delivery service between Karatomari Port in Fukuoka City and Genkai Island on May 15. It was the first time in Japan for a drone to fly out of the view of the pilot above the sea on such a mission. The drone departed the island and traveled the 5-km route carrying wakame seaweed on the way to Karatomari Port and vitamin supplements on the way back. Source: ANA Group, 5/13/2019
