Drugstore Mori Donates Millions to Japan Guide Dog Association

A national chain based in Asakura City, Fukuoka, “Drugstore Mori” has donated funds to the Japan Guide Dog Association. The drugstore chain has set up donation boxes at the registers of all 350 stores that it operates in Kyushu and throughout Japan. On the 21st of February, a donation of approximately 9.08 million yen was presented to the Japan Guide Dog Association, which was gathered from the donation boxes and a portion of the vending machine sales over the past year. The initiative began in 2016, with the aim of helping to raise guide dogs in the face of a nationwide shortage. Source: KBC
