A new multistory parking facility at Fukuoka Airport is set to open on April 16, aimed at alleviating congestion issues. The facility, designed to hold over 1,600 vehicles, will increase parking fees from 200 yen to 250 yen per 30 minutes, with maximum fees also rising during regular and peak periods. This expansion comes just in time as the current parking area will be demolished to make way for a new complex including a hotel and bus terminal. The new parking structure, supervised by architect Kengo Kuma and featuring local designs, promises smoother traffic flow and enhanced capacity. Source: Fukuoka Airport official X / NHK
