Fake Drone Video Causes Disruption at Fukuoka Airport

A fake drone video was posted online on June 27, causing interruption of the airport operation at Fukuoka Airport. The 20-second clip was shot by four men aged 19 ~ 26, using a selfie stick and 360-degree camera. They intended to simulate video footage taken by a drone., which is prohibited in urban areas and especially near airports. The case was sent to prosecutors on Sep. 1 as the first case of drone-related business interruption in the prefecture. Source: NHK / Asahi
