FamilyMart Adds Seven Bank ATM

FamilyMart opened a new convenience store at the University of Kitakyushu on June 9, featuring the first Seven Bank ATM installed at a FamilyMart location in Kyushu. The store was established after requests from students, as the campus previously lacked a convenience store. Although branded as a FamilyMart ATM, the machine uses Seven Bank technology and offers services not previously available through FamilyMart’s ATM network, including cash top-ups for QR-code payment platforms and e-money services. FamilyMart began introducing Seven Bank ATMs nationwide this month as part of a strategy to improve customer convenience, increase store traffic, and reduce operating costs. The company plans to replace ATMs at all domestic locations with Seven Bank machines by 2030. Source: TNC News / FamilyMart
