Shizuoka-based Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA) has decided to take over two of three round-trip flights between Fukuoka City and Matsumoto Airport in Nagano Prefecture that are being relinquished by Japan Airlines due to its financial difficulties. FDA has already announced it will assume operations for some of the Shizuoka-Fukuoka flights that JAL will no longer operate. These will be the first flights operated by FDA that do not begin or terminate at Shizuoka Airport.
