The Fukuoka branch of Teikoku Databank released the results of its survey of regional companies considering a stock exchange listing. The survey found only 29 companies thinking of going public, a decline of three from the previous year. It is also down about 70% from the 94 companies that answered in the affirmative in 1994. The company attributes this to the increased burden of disclosure requirements.
