The first climbing wall on the exterior of a housing complex was built on Hinosato 48 in Munakata City, Fukuoka. Hinosato 48 is a residential complex developed collaboratively by government and public organizations. The group ran a crowdfunding project to raise the fund for the bouldering wall creation.
