First Baby Giraffe Born in Fukuoka in 33 Years

A baby giraffe was born at Fukuoka City Zoo. According to the announcement by the zoo, the baby was born at around 19:00 on February 5. Standing up on its feet, the baby has been observed drinking milk from its mother soon after coming to the world. It was the first time over 26 years that the zoo experienced the birth of a healthy giraffe baby. Source: Fukuoka Zoo 02/07/2020
