Police have arrested six individuals, including the CEO of a used car dealership in Koga City, Fukuoka Prefecture, on suspicion of illegally detaining and assaulting a former employee. The suspects include CEO Hiroshi Terasaki (49) and five employees in their 20s to 40s.
From the evening of November 26 to the morning of November 28, the suspects allegedly tied the 41-year-old former employee’s hands and feet with zip ties and detained him on the second floor of the dealership’s office. They are also accused of assaulting the man with a metal bat, causing severe injuries, including a fractured bone beneath his eye.
The incident came to light after the victim managed to send an email to his family for help while his guard was asleep. Police responded to the family’s report and arrested the six individuals on-site.
Authorities revealed there was an ongoing financial dispute between the company and the victim, but further details remain under investigation. The suspects have not disclosed their statements regarding the allegations. Source: NHK
