Four men in their 20s from Kurume City were arrested for stealing copper wire from agricultural greenhouses in Asakura and Kurume. Police say the suspects took nearly 300 meters of wire and 83 cables, later found in a vehicle linked to the crimes. Since May, 26 similar thefts have been reported in the Chikugo region. Three of the men admitted to stealing and reselling the copper for money, while one denied involvement. Police are investigating connections between the cases. Source: NHK
