Kyushu’s 10 regional banks announced they will launch a service in which their ATMs can be used interchangeably for no service charge. The service, which will eliminate the current 105 yen charge, is scheduled to start February 23. Cash cards can be used for withdrawals and deposits from 8:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. The fee for transactions at other times will be cut in half to 105 yen.
