Free Sanitary Napkins Sent to Colleges

Free sanitary napkins were sent to 56 local universities and colleges in Fukuoka Prefecture to help female students impacted by new coronavirus-induced financial difficulties. On Apr. 26, workers of Fukuoka Prefecture checked conditions of approximately 17,000 sanitary pads at its storage room. Around 300 pads per college are to be delivered to nurse offices to support students in need. The prefecture also sent about 300 pads to a local NPO, Sodachi no Ki, that support women in their teens and twenties. Source: Fukuoka Prefecture / FBS / RKB
