Fukuoka City Subway plans to discontinue their ‘noritsugi’ fare (transit fare) system to passengers who transfer between the two lines at the junction of Tenjin and Tenjin-minami. Train transfers between Kuko Line and Nanakuma Line will become available at Hakata Station once the Nanakuma Line’s extension opens in 2022. Separate fares will be charged on inter-station transfer at Tenjin / Tenjin-minami, beginning in the fiscal year of 2022. Source: FBS / NHK
