The Fukuoka Stock Exchange released a policy statement for 2008 that said the exchange is considering the introduction of a system that would allow the listing of stocks from Asian companies, including South Korea and China. They plan to work out the details by the end of the fiscal year next March. If the system is adopted, they would be the only Japanese stock exchange other than the Tokyo exchange to list Asian stocks.
