The privatization of Fukuoka Airport planned for 2019 is progressing. Kyuden, Nishitetsu and other local companies are cooperating to establish a new company. The new company is already under negotiations with Changi Airport Group (Singapore) and Mitsubishi Corporation (Tokyo) to form a joint bid. Changi Airport Group operates over 40 airports in Asia, Europe and the US, and Mitsubishi Corporation manages airports in Myanmar. The lowest bidding price is ¥161,000,000,000. Source: TNC, 4/6
