Fukuoka Airport Reports Three Billion Yen Loss

On November 22, Fukuoka International Airport revealed its consolidated accounts for the period between April 2019 and September 2019, which showed a loss of ¥3 billion. Their business has been significantly affected by the recent decline in the number of Korean tourists. The company commented that the situation continues to impact the next six-month term (October 2019 ~ March 2020) and posted a revised forecast of ¥9.7 billion loss.
