Fukuoka Announce HIV/AIDS Figures For 2017

Fukuoka City announced the number of HIV and AIDS cases reported in 2017. From July to December, 26 new cases of HIV were reported, while 9 people tested positive for AIDS during the same sixth-month period. A total of 39 HIV and 15 AIDS cases were reported across the entire year. This represents the second highest overall figure that the city has recorded since the survey began in 1989 (only 2016 saw more new cases reported).
